Important Anti-Ragging Guidelines

Based on UGC REGULATIONS ON CURBING THE MENACE OF RAGGING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, 2009.

What constitutes Ragging?

  • Any conduct by any student or students that involves teasing, rudeness, or indiscipline towards a fresher or any other student.
  • Asking any student to perform acts that cause shame, torment, or embarrassment.
  • Disrupting or preventing the regular academic activities of any student.
  • Exploiting the services of a fresher or any other student for academic tasks.
  • Any act of physical, sexual, or mental abuse towards a fresher or any other student.
